Clark County supporters: WPC invites you to attend a town hall event next Tuesday, October 9th, discussing C-TRAN’s proposed tax increase to pay for light rail. Michael Ennis, director of WPC’s Center for Transportation, will participate as a panelist, along with Vancouver City Councilman Bill Turlay, Americans Building Community Executive Director Mark Maggiora, and CTRAN’s Scott Patterson, among others. Mike just released WPC’s Citizens’ Guide to Clark County Proposition 1 (Vancouver Light Rail), that concludes the measure is a referendum on light rail and it would harm Washington businesses. The event is hosted by Clark County’s League of Women Voters, with the idea that “the public should hear different views on the issues facing our community.”
